Look at Maggie’s adorable underbite! So cute. Maggie’s white face makes her look much older than she actually is — she is only three. She has had it rough in her short life. We don’t know all the details of her past, but based on her timid demeanor, we know it was a rough one. We rescued her from a kill shelter in KY in December 2020 and her foster home has done a wonderful job of showing her how nice it can be to live with humans. Maggie loves treats, so that always helps. Maggie unfortunately had heartworms when we brought her to IL, but she is now done with her treatment and is spayed and ready for her forever home. The perfect home for Maggie will be a low activity, quiet home where you are willing to give her the time to adjust and know that she can trust you. Every experience in a house was new for Maggie and she is timid in those new situations. She wants love and needs patience in her new home. Is yours the right one?
Buster came to us originally as a puppy in 2018 and was fostered and adopted but is now in need of a new home. He is super sweet, but has a lot of energy and will need a home that can keep his mind and body active. He loves other dogs and will do well in a household with other dogs to expend some of his energy. He is also a lap dog and loves spending sleepy time on your bed (if you let him). He will be turning 3 in August of 2021, so is still a young dog with lots of years to go! If you think Buster might be a good fit for your home and family, please review the adoption process and complete an application.
